The next few months will be a busy time. Our focus will be the onsite infrastructure needed for the overall Touchstone master-planned community. Infrastructure work includes essential improvements such as roads, water and sewer connections.
Civil Construction
Estimated Timing: Onsite work starting early Summer 2023
If you pass by the site in the coming months, you can anticipate seeing our construction team hard at work. The focus for the construction team will be civil construction and infrastructure, which includes: Roads, walkways, public spaces, and water / sewer connections.
Homesite Preparation
Estimated Timing: Starting early Summer 2023
Within the Touchstone site, we will focus on creating streets and connecting Homesites with their necessary services, including water, sewer, TELUS and Fortis. We anticipate that this work will begin in early Summer, taking approximately six months for the first phase of Homesites.
Offsite Connections
Estimated Timing: Starting late 2023
Once the first phase of Homesite and onsite infrastructure work is complete, the team will move to offsite work. Greenlane Homes will be focusing on connecting to offsite water and sewer from Shaw Road to Inglis Road. The offsite work will take a few months and will be the focus in late 2023.
The Residences and Townhomes Update
Estimated Timing: Starting Winter 2023
We are projecting to start construction of The Residences and Townhomes by next Winter, and it is estimated that the homes will take approximately two years to complete.
